Pay Between Assignments (Swedish
Derogation)
This service is provided by Nasa
Umbrella where required by your agency as they are unable to
operate you under the MPP scheme.
PBA ensures that you receive at least
equal treatment with regard to Day
1and some Week 13 entitlements with
the exception of Basic Pay, as outlined below:
Day 1 entitlements
- Access to client facilities (canteen, crèche, transport
services etc)
- Access to all internal job vacancies
Week 13 entitlements
- Annual leave
- Overtime
- Bonus or commission
- Vouchers/stamps
You agree a permanent employment contract which provides pay
between assignments but you forego your right the equal pay under
AWR.
How does it work?
The service will be much like that of
the traditional umbrella system as it exists now for timesheets,
expenses and payments.
The main changes will be as
follows:
- You agree a Permanent Contract of employment
- This guarantees you:
- at least 50% of your highest weeks' pay (in the previous 12
weeks) or NMW (whichever is the highest)
- Paid for up to 4 weeks when between assignments
This PBA will be paid to
you in advance with your salary each
week/month and be clearly shown on your payslip - much like 'Rolled
Up Holiday Pay' is at present. Therefore you have the option
to put this pay aside for when you may be between assignments.
Fees
Our fee remains at £9.99 per week
before tax relief.
